About forty-five minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO) via SR 528 east to the A1A exit, and roughly an hour from the theme park area depending on I-4 traffic.

Can we do a surf lesson as a day trip from the parks?

Yes, and a morning lesson works best: you beat the traffic leaving Orlando, get the cleanest water of the day, and are back in time for the evening. Sessions run from 9:00 AM.

Do you offer lessons before a Port Canaveral cruise?

We do. Tell us your boarding time and we will build a one or two hour session around it — we are about twenty minutes from the cruise terminals, and everything is supplied on the beach.

Is surfing suitable for kids on holiday?

It is one of the best things you can do with kids on the Space Coast. From age 6 they ride soft-top boards in waist-deep water with an instructor beside them, and you can watch from the sand.

Question 5

Do we need our own gear?

Accepted Answer

No. Every lesson includes a surfboard, rash guard and wetsuit. Just bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen — there is no board or wetsuit rental stop on the way.

What about corporate groups visiting Orlando?

We host team-building sessions for visiting companies, from groups of six to sixty, with multiple instructors and a lead instructor running the briefing. Send us your date and headcount and we will quote it.
